The UBC Public Scholars Scholarship for domestic and international students is open to domestic and international PhD students in all subjects available at the University of British Columbia, Canada.

Scholarship benefits: The scholarship will be paid in two instalments of up to $10,000, for a combined total of $20,000 for each student over the course of the PhD.

Eligibility requirements:
Candidates are required to be no more than 48 months into their PhD studies by 31 August 2020;
Candidates must be enrolled in the PhD programme at the University of British Columbia as of 1 September 2020;
Candidates in year 6 have between 48 and 60 months of doctoral studies, which can be admitted only under very special conditions.
Application process: To participate in this scholarship programme, applicants must be studying for a PhD at the selected Canadian university. Once approved, applicants may proceed to apply for this scholarship.
